Types of Personal Data collected

When you use our services, you agree that we collect some of your personal data. This page is intended to tell you what data, why and how we use it.

Data we collect automatically

When you browse the site we can automatically collect various information, including:

  • information about your computer / device such as browser type, operating system, IP address or current (approximate) location.
    These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and to identify anomalies and / or abuses.
  • technical and third-party cookies (see the section Cookies for more details)
  • with the use of mobile applications we also collect your device identification code (UUID) to send you push notifications

We may also collect information about your interaction with the email messages we send you, for example if you have opened, clicked or forwarded a message.

Data provided by the user

When you register, enter or reply to an advertisement or fill out a contact form, you agree to provide us with some data that we need to provide you with the service you have requested.

Some examples of data you can provide us are the following:
surname, name, email, password (it will be saved encrypted, so that not even we can see it), telephone number, company name, city, residential address, date of birth, gender.

When you post an ad, post on our blog or forum you provide data that will be made public.
You should be aware that any information provided in these areas can be read, collected and used by other users accessing such data.

Sensitive information such as your credit card number and password that we request on the site are protected with encryption, such as the Secured Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, during transmission over the Internet.

Data provided by third parties

When you register or log in to your account through a third party service provider (such as log in with Google, Facebook, Twitter, ...) we are provided with information such as your username, email address, first name, last name and profile from that service (the data sent is specified in the appropriate "pop-up" window that is displayed at the time of the request). The information varies and is controlled by that service provider or authorized by the user via that service provider's privacy settings.

How we use the collected data

We use the data collected to guarantee you access to our services and their provision, including:

  • registration and creation of the reserved area
  • publication and management of announcements
  • use of the "favorites" and "saved searches" features
  • verify your identity when you access the site
  • activities of an administrative, financial or accounting nature, such as those relating to the purchase of paid services and any credit recovery

We also use your data to improve and implement the service, through the following treatments:

  • approximate location detection in order to deliver content close to you
  • carrying out technical analyzes to determine how to improve the site and the services we provide
  • monitoring of the activity on the site, eg. to identify potential fraudulent activity and to ensure compliance with the terms applicable to the site

If you receive a commercial email from us, you can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained in the same email or by contacting us via the contact form on the site.

Subjects to whom personal data may be disclosed

The collected data may be disclosed to:

  • companies that perform functions strictly connected and instrumental to operations, including companies that provide archiving, administrative, payment and billing services and companies that provide technical components for the provision of certain service features.
  • the data may be communicated following inspections or verifications (if required), to all the inspection bodies responsible for checks and controls concerning the regularity of legal obligations.
  • by responding to an announcement or activating an alert with the request sent to the agencies, the data entered in the contact form can be shared with the agencies themselves.

How you can access your personal information

You can access some of the personal information we collect about you by logging into your private area.

At any time you can:

  • request access to personal data collected
  • request the updating, modification and correction of any errors in such data
  • withdraw consent to data processing (in this case it is possible that we can disable your account or the data you have entered on our site)

How we store your data

The storage of personal data will take place in paper and / or electronic / computer form and for the necessary time, in compliance with your privacy and current regulations.

In the case of active users, the advertisements and content generated by the user will be kept for 36 months for reasons of security, prevention and legal regulations.

Invoices, accounting documents and transaction data are kept for 11 years in accordance with the law (including tax obligations).

In the case of a request for express cancellation of personal data, we remind you that such data will be kept, in a protected form and with limited access, solely for the purpose of ascertaining and prosecuting crimes, for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of the request and subsequently they will be securely and permanently deleted.

Your personal data may be transferred outside the European Union to be processed by some of our service providers.
In this case, we make sure that this transfer takes place in compliance with current legislation and that an adequate level of protection of personal data is guaranteed based on an adequacy decision, on standard clauses defined by the European Commission or on Binding Corporate Rules.

The information relating to the ads placed will be visible in searches carried out in the internal search engine and could be made available to third party search engines, as the indexing of content by third party engines is allowed.
In the event that the page relating to the ad has already been removed on our site, it is possible that the cached copy will remain in the search results for a few days.
The search results are not managed by the Owner, but the user can report the removal of the page and request the update of the cached copy directly to the third party search engine.

Under no circumstances do we give or sell personal data to third parties.

How we keep your personal information safe

The data are collected, according to the indications of the relevant legislation, with particular regard to the security measures provided for by the GDPR (Article 32), using computerized, manual and automated tools.

We store personal information on secure servers that are managed by us and our service providers, and occasionally paper files kept in a secure location.
The personal information we store or transmit is protected by security and access controls and data encryption.

Children under 16

If you are under the age of 16 you cannot register on our site nor can you provide us with any personal data.
In any case, we assume no responsibility for any false statements provided by you.

If we become aware of the existence of untruthful statements, we will proceed with the immediate cancellation of any personal data acquired.

Changes to this privacy policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to Users on this page.
